Inner Kingdom
Faculty Upgrade
Choose one faculty to work on. Each faculty includes a short sample passage from Jesus’ sayings or deeds (Gospels) with the verse reference, plus a step-by-step practice loop.
Core Faculties
Memory
“Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” — Matthew 7:24
Memory strengthens when truth is practiced. Jesus connects hearing, doing, and stability.
Understanding
“To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven...” — Matthew 13:11
Understanding grows when meaning is received inwardly, not forced outwardly.
Eloquence
“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” — Matthew 12:34
Eloquence is inner clarity expressing itself without strain.
Perseverance
“The one who endures to the end will be saved.” — Matthew 24:13
Perseverance is steady alignment over time, not intensity for a day.
Applied Faculties
Grammar
“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation...” — Matthew 12:25
Grammar trains structure so meaning doesn’t divide against itself.
Rhetoric
“A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” — Matthew 5:14
Rhetoric trains clear delivery without force: arrangement, emphasis, and timing.
Logic
“Why do you not judge for yourselves what is right?” — Luke 12:57
Logic sharpens discernment and tests connections for truth.
Arithmetic
“...count the cost...” — Luke 14:28
Arithmetic trains order, sequence, and reality-checking.
Geometry
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” — Luke 20:17
Geometry trains form awareness: structure, proportion, cornerstone logic.
Music
“Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” — Mark 4:23
Music trains rhythm and attentive hearing—order in time.
Astronomy
“You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky...” — Matthew 16:3
Astronomy trains awareness of cycles and signs without fear.
